Jimmie Comer III is a storyteller, and truth-seeker whose journey in performance began in Southfield under the direction & mentorship of Ms. Hostetter. It was there that he first fell in love with the stage—a love that would deepen at Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit. Honing his skills, Jimmie learned the value of ensemble work, physicality, and what it means to use art as a tool for transformation.

Following Mosaic, Jimmie went on to earn his BFA in Theatre from Western Michigan University, where he was apart of productions such as Sweat (Chris), Skeleton Crew(Dez), The Tempest (Ferdinand), and Intimate Apparel (George Armstrong), and more. Jimmie’s credits would go on to span the stage, including indie films like Mercy 2 Far Gone, Sweat!, and Tomorrow.

Jimmie currently is excited to make his professional debut (AEA) this February 2026 and can’t wait to announce further details!
